While in Italy, Fr. Jude was involved in organizing yearly Spiritual retreats for Adults, Youth and Children in the area. He was also involved in sports, especially soccer. As a pastoral counselor, Fr. Jude was appreciated by his parishioners and those of neighboring parishes, especially the youth and married couples. This special inclination actually pushed him to look for a way to be more useful to the people around him, and he went to improve himself by continuing his education. Even now he is always ready to help anybody around him who is really in need.

He holds bachelors degrees in Philosophy (B. Phil) from the Pontifical Urban University and Theology (B.D) from the Pontifical Lateran University, both in Rome; a Licentiate and Doctorate in Canon Law, also from the Pontifical Lateran University. He speaks English, Italian and has a working knowledge of Greek, Hebrew and Latin. He also speaks several African languages fluently. He is currently a member of the Catholic Marriage Tribunal where he serves as a Judge in the Diocese of Providence, Rhode Island. Also, he is the Chaplain of the Rhode Island African Catholic Community, and the Knight of Columbus Mary Queen of Africa Council # 73, at Holy Name Church, Providence, R.I.
